Each step is a day's invoices and bills. The VAT totals are ready the morning the month closes.
The IRD's National e-Invoicing System sends VAT invoice data from business systems to RAMIS in real time. Today it covers a pilot group; the next phases have no dates yet.
A document in KyDec is not a form that gets copied into other systems later. Saving it is what updates your books, your stock and your tax data, at the same moment.
Every document writes its own double entry. Sales, purchases, stock and bank share one database, so the trial balance, the VAT report and the stock value always agree.

Record onlyThe app is in English. The documents you print and send can use Sinhala or Tamil script — two of the 26 scripts KyDec prints in.
Same invoice, same numbers — the script is a print setting, not a separate document.
Not a chatbot bolted on. The AI sits inside the documents and ledgers, and every suggestion is one you can see, accept or correct.
AI OCR reads the supplier, line items, VAT and totals from a photo, and drafts the bill for you to check.
KyDec sorts each bank line by type and matches it to its receipt or payment.
KyDec shows which clients usually pay late and which items are below their reorder point.
Type the question the way you'd ask your accountant. The answer comes from your own books.
Your books are the record your accountant and the IRD rely on. KyDec keeps a copy of everything you send, backs up daily, and moves your data across for you.
Yes — “TAX INVOICE”, your serial series, both TINs, a date-of-supply field you add, and value, VAT and total in LKR. We set it up in week one; your accountant can check it against the IRD specimen.
Not today. KyDec totals the VAT on your sales and purchases in its tax summary; you prepare, pay and file on IRD RAMIS e-services. The national e-invoicing system is still a pilot for selected exporters; Phase 2 has no date yet.
RAMIS e-invoicing — not connected yet: KyDec prepares the figures, you file on the official portal.
Printed documents can use Sinhala or Tamil script, or English. The app itself is in English.
Book it by journal at 2.5% of liable turnover; the turnover comes straight from your books. An invoice carries one tax, VAT.
KyDec is hosted in India, encrypted in transit, with daily backups, and every list and report downloadable as CSV.
