Raise an invoice in KWD to three decimals and KyDec moves the stock and writes the books from that same record — with bilingual Arabic–English print and the 5% contract retention kept in plain sight until it’s released.
Kuwait has no VAT and no e-invoicing mandate. What does apply is profit-based tax, a 5% hold-back on contract payments, and a currency that runs to three decimals. Here is the spec, as it stands in October 2026.
15% corporate income tax applies to foreign companies’ Kuwait-source profits. Kuwaiti companies pay Zakat (1%), NLST (2.5%, listed companies) and KFAS (1%) instead. MNE groups with €750m+ revenue face a 15% Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (Law 157/2024) from 2025.
No withholding tax — but whoever pays a contract must hold back 5% of each payment until the supplier shows a Ministry of Finance tax clearance certificate.
Your legal name, address and Commercial Registration number, set once and printed every time.

Line items from your product list, with units and stock pulled from the warehouse.
Every amount and the total payable in fils precision — never rounded to two.
Carry the contract number on the invoice so the 5% retention can be traced back to it.
A document in KyDec is not a form that gets copied into other systems later. Saving it is what updates your books, your stock and your contract balances, at the same moment.
For a trading house in Shuwaikh, a contractor working on retention, or a clinic group with three entities — the parts below share one database and one set of numbers.

KNET, WAMD, transfers and cheques aren’t connected — record them as receipts and they match in bank reconciliation. Card payment links are not offered in Kuwait yet.
Four built-in tools that read, match, warn and answer — and you check everything before it is saved.
AI OCR reads a supplier bill — lines, quantities, totals — and fills in the vendor bill for you to check.
Upload a statement, even a scanned PDF. Each line is read and matched to its invoice or bill.
Overdue invoices get reminders on the schedule you set, and items below their reorder level raise an alert.
Type a question the way you’d ask your accountant, and get the list or the figure back.
Your books stay safe, and moving over takes about a month — with us sitting beside your accountant for the first month-end.

Because profit is what’s taxed here — 15% corporate tax for foreign companies, or Zakat, NLST and KFAS for Kuwaiti ones. All are worked out from net profit, so a P&L built from real double-entry records is what your accountant needs at year-end.
KyDec records part-payments against an invoice, so when a client pays 95% the other 5% stays open in ageing and outstanding reports, traceable to the contract. The same works for your own vendor bills. The tax clearance certificate itself comes from the Ministry of Finance.
Yes. Printed documents support Arabic script and a right-to-left mode that mirrors the whole layout, so bilingual Arabic–English invoices are straightforward. The app screens are in English.
No VAT law exists today, so your invoices carry no tax line. The tax engine already supports VAT as a tax type with per-line rates, so if a law is passed you won’t need new software to add it.
Not through KyDec directly, and card payment links are not offered in Kuwait yet. KNET, WAMD, transfers and cheques are recorded as receipts and matched when you reconcile the bank statement.
KyDec is hosted in India, encrypted in transit and backed up nightly. You can export any list or report whenever you like.
