The tax you charge depends on your customer's province. Five harmonize into HST, four add PST, RST or QST on top of the 5% GST, and four collect GST alone.
Both taxes are administered by Revenu Québec for Quebec businesses. Nova Scotia's HST is 14% since 2025-04-01; rates shown as of October 2026.
Your customer needs these details to claim input tax credits. KyDec's templates carry every field, at any amount.
Required above CA$30,000 of taxable supplies over four consecutive quarters; voluntary below. KyDec stores a tax number on every client and vendor.
GST34 to the CRA; FPZ-500 to Revenu Québec. Any 12-month fiscal period; reports follow yours.
No B2B, B2C or B2G requirement; Peppol is voluntary. KyDec sends PDF invoices by email (with open tracking) or WhatsApp.
Bill 96 requires Quebec invoices and receipts to be available in French. KyDec prints them with French custom labels; the app is in English.
A document in KyDec is not a form that gets copied into other systems later. Saving it is what updates your books, your stock and your GST/HST and QST figures, at the same moment.
Every document writes its own double entry, so the ledger is right all along.
Cards run through a Stripe payment link on the invoice. The rest is recorded and matched on bank import; there is no direct Interac or bank connection.
Quotes, proformas, orders, invoices, credit notes, receipts. Recurring invoices, reminders, 11 print templates, your own numbering.

Journals, ledgers, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, posted from the documents.
Import a statement; KyDec suggests matches against invoices and bills. Confirm and it reconciles.
Multi-warehouse stock, batch, serial and expiry, reorder alerts, product-wise profit.
Pipelines, lead forms, follow-ups and meetings, linked to the quotes that follow.
Several companies, each with its own books. Roles decide who sees what. Branded greetings to customers.

Snap a vendor bill and KyDec reads the line items, tax and totals into a draft for you to confirm.
Upload a statement, even a scanned PDF. KyDec reads each line and matches it to its invoice or bill.
Reminders go out on the schedule you set, and items under their reorder level raise an alert before month-end.
No report builder. Type what you want to know and KyDec answers from your own data.

About an hour, for you, your staff and your accountant.
Reconciliation, tax summary, reports, with us beside you.
